Butler, R. Paul
Astronomer based at the Anglo-Australian Observatory and affiliated with the University of California, Berkeley, who is a principal researcher with the San Francisco State University Planet Search program and its southern hemisphere counterpart, the Anglo-Australian Planet Search program. Together with Geoffrey Marcy and other colleagues, he has been involved with the discovery of well over half the presently known extrasolar planets.
