hole-in-a-postcard problem
With a pair of scissors, cut a hole in a regular sized postcard that is large enough for a person to step through it. The solution is shown in the diagram. The number of lines determines the size of the resulting aperture. With enough cuts you could literally drive a horse and cart through the card!
