Carter, Howard (1873–1938)

Howard Carter
English Egyptologist, famous for the Valley of the Kings excavations with Lord Carnarvon that led to the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Carter spent ten years in careful excavation and exploration of the tomb.
