Bass is the lowest male voice type, extending from approximately the second E below middle C to the E or F above middle C.
Basso profundo is the name given to a very deep voice whose range is the second C below middle C to the E above middle C.
A bass is a low-pitched instrument, such as a bass guitar or double-bass.
The bass is the lowest part of a piece of music, or the lowest note in a chord. It is the opposite of treble.
Bass may also refer to the lower range of the audio spectrum, from about 350 Hz and below. It is sometimes split into two parts labeled as bass (20 Hz to 140 Hz) and upper bass (140 to 350 Hz).
