    Proclus Diadochus (c. A.D. 410-485)

The last major Greek philosopher; his Commentary on Euclid is the main original source we have on the early history of Greek geometry. He also wrote Hypotyposis, which gives a detailed account of the Earth-centered astronomical theories of Hipparchus and Ptolemy.
