SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) was an Earth-mapping mission that was conducted aboard the Space Shuttle in February 2000. It was supported jointly by NASA, NIMA (National Imagery and Mapping Agency), and international partners, as part of NASA's Earth Probes program.
